On May 22, 2025, the final of the nationwide oLEANpiada competition took place at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków. The goal of the event is to popularize Lean Management among high school students. We are proud to have served as a patron of this initiative, supporting a project that truly develops the skills of future engineers and industry leaders.
The finalists included students from technical schools and high schools across Poland, selected through a qualification process. Each team prepared original solutions to process-related challenges and presented them in an innovative and practical way. Success required not only theoretical knowledge but also analytical skills, creativity, and a strong understanding of lean principles in action.
oLEANpiada is organized by the AGH Student Scientific Circle of Management, operating within the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Resource Management – one of the university’s oldest departments, with roots going back to 1919. The competition is well-founded academically and is attracting growing interest from schools and students across the country.
What’s more, Adrian Stelmach, CEO of explitia, had the opportunity to deliver a lecture during the event, focusing on lean management in practice.
For explitia, becoming a patron of this event was a natural step. For years, we’ve operated at the intersection of industry and education, supporting the development of future-ready competencies and promoting a practical approach to digitization, automation, and process optimization. We firmly believe that initiatives like oLEANpiada help shape conscious change leaders – ready to implement modern concepts in real industrial environments.
