The Katowice Special Economic Zone is one of the largest and most important economic zones in Poland. It covers the area of the Silesian Voivodeship, as well as parts of the Opole, Małopolska, and Łódź Voivodeships. Its main goal is to attract investments, support the economic development of the region, and create new jobs.

Within the KSSE operates the Silesia Automotive & Advanced Manufacturing cluster, which brings together manufacturing companies, research and development institutions, and technology enterprises from the automotive sector. This cluster serves as a space for exchanging knowledge and experience, as well as for joint development and expansion into new markets.
