As our projects continue to grow, we are looking for a Junior MES and SCADA Systems Developer specialising in AVEVA technologies
This position involves the development and maintenance of HMI/SCADA systems for industrial installations, particularly production and bottling lines, along with the integration of data from devices and plant systems.
The work is carried out in a travel-based work model – travel may account for up to approximately 75% of total working time.
Responsibilities
- development and maintenance of HMI/SCADA applications within the AVEVA System Platform environment
- design and development of operator screens in InTouch
- configuration of ArchestrA Graphics
- design and development of systems using the AVEVA MES and AVEVA Work Tasks modules
- integration of production data from devices and plant systems, including the use of Microsoft SQL Server and network integrations
- development and configuration of reporting systems such as Reporting Services, FastReport or related technologies
- configuration and maintenance of server and virtual environments supporting SCADA/MES
- support for system commissioning directly at customer sites
- cooperation with automation, IT and OT teams during industrial system implementations
What do we expect?
- experience working with SCADA/MES or PLC systems
- practical knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server
- experience working with reporting tools such as Reporting Services, FastReport or similar solutions
- English proficiency at least at a communicative level, enabling work in an international project environment
- ability to install and configure Windows operating systems (including basic hardware / BIOS configuration)
- experience working with machinery and industrial installations, as well as during commissioning
Nice to have:
- knowledge of the AVEVA environment or a similar environment
- experience in Batch Handling
- experience working with virtual environments
- basic knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networks, switches and firewalls
- German proficiency enabling work in a project environment will be an additional asset
